My cousin Brianna has been over this side of the world for the last few months, which has been really nice in terms of having family to message in the same time zone! And in September she managed to come over for a weekend visit.

Unfortunately I didn't take too many photos but here is some of the stuff we did!

A sunny day in Edinburgh |
The weather was amazing for the weekend and it didn't rain once. We went for a walk through the Grassmarket, down The Royal Mile and up Arthurs Seat in the sun. I think I even got a bit of a tan...a baby one.

After some lunch at a cafe we headed to ANOTHER (potentially turning into our Mums...) to have coffee and cake. I have been meaning to go to
Lovecrumbs for a long time because I walk past it everyday, and it didn't disappoint. We had an iced coffee which came in a jar and Brianna had banana walnut cake and I have chocolate peanut butter. YUM.

That night we went out to
Electric Circus for magic nostalgic, where every half an hour the wheel is spun and anew genre or category of music is played. It was a bit awkward when we first went because of the copious amounts of hen and stag do's, but then we got into it and the power ballads and Britney vs. Justin half hours definitely made the night!

Actual nice photo |
The next day we had brunch at Project Coffee (had to give Brianna the Edinburgh cafe experience since she was missing it in Holland!) and headed out to
Jamie's Italian for dinner that night.

All in all it was an awesome weekend and so nice to show someone around Edinburgh and my life here. I will definitely need to get over to The Netherlands to visit as soon as possible!
